Meet the Asante Family | New Residents at Ten Trails in Black Diamond, WA

Meet the Asante Family | New Residents at Ten Trails in Black Diamond, WA

Ten Trails is happy to introduce some of our newest residents, the Asantes! Heather, Imani, and Emma Asante moved to Ten Trails from West Seattle in October with their Shitzu-Poodle, Charlie.

Search for a Close-Knit Community with Family Nearby

Heather and Imani began their search for their new home in south King County to be closer to their family members live in Covington. Heather and Emma visited the Welcome Center and model homes early last fall and fell in love with the sense of community they felt at Ten Trails, the beautiful new model homes, and all of the parks and green spaces in the community.

Hickory Floorplan by Lennar at Ten Trails

The couple chose to purchase the Hickory floorplan by Lennar because the floorplan fit their family’s needs and they especially loved the home’s large, open kitchen and living space. “We loved being able to have family come to our house this year for the holidays,” Heather says. Prior to moving to Ten Trails, the family of three lived in a rental home in West Seattle that was less than 1,000 square feet total in size with only one bathroom. “Having all of this extra space has been amazing,” Heather says.

Community Events at Ten Trails

The Asantes are looking forward to warmer weather and being able to get outside more to gather with neighbors in the parks and at one of the community’s many fire pits. Imani says he would love to get out and explore some of the community’s many trails this spring and check out the nearby Black Diamond Open Space Park with his mountain bike. “We love being out here so close to nature,” he says. “It’s a perfect escape at the end of a workday in the city.” Welcome to the community! We are so happy you chose Ten Trails as your new hometown! 360.469.4043 www.TenTrails.com

We have miles of trails to explore that connect our parks, residential areas, and upcoming retail village, as well as well as nature paths that wander through the trees surrounding our community.

Ten Trails is not Just a Name

The community’s name, “Ten Trails” refers to the fact that, when complete, the community will have at least ten distinctly different trails for residents to use. These may include nature trails, fitness trails, a children’s trail and more!

Easy Access to Area Trails

Ten Trails is also conveniently located just a short drive from some of the area’s finest hiking trails. A short drive north of the community, residents can find countless hiking trails in the Cascades along the I-90 corridor. Ten Trails is happy to introduce another great team member you will meet when you visit the community! Alycia May is the site broker for the Ichijo Duet model homes at Ten Trails and has been in the community every week since August helping potential residents find their dream home.

Real Estate Background

Alycia comes from a family with ties to real estate and new construction so she has been exposed to the industry most of her life. Her aunt and uncle are in the mortgage industry and her dad has worked in new construction for several companies since she was a little girl. Alycia has had her real estate license for the past two years, prefers working in new construction sales and especially loves the work setting at Ten Trails. “It’s much quieter out here and away from the hustle and bustle of the city,” she says. “It’s just so pretty to look at on my drive here with all of the trees and nature.”

Ichijo Homes at Ten Trails

When it comes to sharing information about the new Ichijo homes at Ten Trails, Alycia is passionate about letting buyers know about how innovative the homes are. “Our wall panel construction and the fact that we make our own cabinets, doors and windows is so unique for this industry,” she says. “When you buy an Ichijo House, you’re buying a genuine Ichijo house and not one that can be found with any other builder.”

Why Choose Ten Trails?

Alycia encourages buyers to consider buying an Ichijo home at Ten Trails for the lifestyle that the community offers. “The community is very family-oriented,” she says. “The amenities, parks and events are all geared toward bringing families and friends together and that’s not something you can find anywhere else.” Make sure you stop by and say hello to Alycia at the Duet models at Ten Trails the next time you’re in the community! www.TenTrails.com 360-469-4043

Meet New Neighbors to Ten Trails: The Scott Family

Ten Trails is happy to introduce new neighbors, Justin and Kit Scott! This couple moved to the community last month from nearby Maple Valley and are in love with their new lifestyle in this growing master planned community!

Brand New Homes at an Attractive Price Point

The Scotts were drawn to the community because of the competitive prices on brand new homes and fell in love with the great amenities offered at Ten Trails. “I’ve always been attracted to city living,” says Kit, “but I don’t necessarily want to live around all the crazy crowds and nightlife that brings. Ten Trails offers the best of both worlds: it’s very family-focused here, but with all of the services and amenities nearby that we need.”

A Community for Residents of all Ages

The Scotts have three teenage children who are enjoying their new Ichijo Sawyer plan home as much as their parents. “They love bringing their friends over to show off the house,” says Kit. The family of five especially enjoyed spending the holiday in their new home. “We moved in the day of Ten Trails’ Christmas tree-lighting event,” says Kit. “We were so sad we couldn’t go, but we really enjoyed hearing all the music and cheering from our house. We definitely are looking forward to attending next year!” When asked if they’d recommend the community to others, the Scotts responded with a resounding, “yes!” “We are just so impressed with Ten Trails,” says Justin. “The whole experience has been wonderful.” Welcome to the community, Justin and Kit! We are so glad you chose Ten Trails as Your New Hometown! 360.469.4043 www.TenTrails.com
