Crystal Mountain Ski Resort offers runs for skiers of all levels with programs available for beginning skiers of all ages. The resort’s 2019-2020 ski season is gearing up, with snow accumulation already beginning to form at the mountain’s base.

Maple Valley Four Corners is a shopping center located just minutes away from Ten Trails off Hwy 169. Kent Station

Hop on the Sounder for your Seattle Commute 

Residents of Ten Trails who work in Seattle can opt to ride the Sounder train for their daily commute into the city. Just 13 miles from the community, Kent Station is just one stop, and a short 22-minute train ride from Seattle’s King Street Station. From there, commuters can walk to downtown office locations, or hop on the Link Light rail at the International District Station, just across 4th Avenue from the train depot.

Easy Access to Local Highways Freeways

Ten Trails is conveniently situated just minutes from Hwy 169 for Eastside commutes. For residents looking to access I-5, it’s just a short drive down Auburn-Black Diamond Road to Lake Holm Rd where drivers will find access to the freeway at the bottom of the hill.

Local Park and Rides

For travel to work by bus, there are several local park and rides where residents can catch a ride to nearby cities. These include the Park and Ride at 11903 SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. for carpool and vanpool parking only, the Black Diamond Masonic Lodge Park and Ride at 32532 3rd Avenue for Metro Route 143 to downtown Seattle and DART 907, and the nearby Maple Valley Park and Ride on Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE for Metro Route 143 and DART 907.

Easy Access to Kent Station

Commuting to Seattle from Ten Trails is a breeze with the nearby Sounder train.  Just a quick drive from Ten Trails via car, residents can park their vehicles for free at Kent Station in their parking deck or on nearby side streets, then catch the train for a quick ride into the city. 

Short Ride to King Street

Downtown Seattle’s King Street Station is the second stop from Kent Station and the “Southbound Sounder’s” final destination for morning commuters to the city. From here, commuters can walk to work if they work downtown, or catch a ride on the Link light rail or a bus.
