Meet Ryan Summers, Sales Broker for Ichijo at Ten Trails

Meet Ryan Summers, a second generation broker from a family of brokers. Ryan grew up with discussion about the housing market part of his daily life since he was young. As he became an adult, his lifelong immersion in the real estate industry drew him to consider a career in that field. Ryan began his foray into the new construction industry as a journeyman carpenter, then went on to become a real estate photographer. Now, as a broker himself, Ryan draws on his past experience and family connection to the real estate industry to help clients find homes in today’s fast-paced Seattle market, and as a listing agent for Ichijo’s new duet models at Ten Trails!

Rather than relying on on-site framing of the home walls, highly-skilled workers create the walls intact in their plant in the Philippines and ship them directly to new home communities like Ten Trails! The framing, windows, weather barriers, furring strips, rainscreens and insulation are all included with each delivered wall.

New Duplexes in Ten Trails

Ichijo has broken ground on their new duplexes being built near our community park. The Japanese builder is well-known for their modern-style homes built in the Seattle area as well as the number of innovative technological features included in their homes. The new Ichijo duplexes at Ten Trails will feature piano finish cabinetry with pull-down shelves, spice racks, adjustable built-ins, architectural grade dual-sliding windows, and contemporary interior doors which include metal inlay, ten-degree short stroke handle and magnetic stop doors.

Green Home Builder

Ichijo is a “green” certified home builder and has certified a number of homes as “5-Star Built Green” through the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. This distinction means their home projects are certified energy-efficient, using sustainable materials among other stringent building criteria.  Ichijo is hoping to achieve the Built Green certification at Ten Trails with features on the new duplexes like the additional two inches of exterior insulation on each home–beyond what is required on building codes. The insulation is included on the exterior of the high-quality wall panel construction that is pre-assembled with wall framing, windows, weather barriers, furring strips, and rainscreens. The energy-saving features allow for up to a reported one-third energy savings on new homes. Homeowners also have the option of upgrading to solar power systems in their new Ten Trails duplex. Each home will be built “solar ready” so solar panels can be added with the purchase of a home, or in the future
