Enjoy New Parks and Additions to the Community

Ten Trails has been busy over the past several months adding on to our amazing network of parks in the community. We recently opened Big Rock Park just southeast of the Village Green and improved our Civic Park by adding a brand new zipline!

The vision for Ten Trails is that, when complete,  there will be a park within walking distance to every home. In keeping with this vision, we have continued to open new parks as the community grows. Recently we completed a new park located across from the new JK Monarch lots. Big Rock Park features kids’ play equipment including a jungle gym a swing set, our new community pea patches, a play lawn, and a large boulder found on site that was the inspiration for the new park’s name.

New Zipline in Civic Park

We are excited to share that we have installed a new zipline in Civic Park! This new Speedway Zipline was manufactured in Germany and measures 64’ in length. This particular model is heavily used in city parks across the globe. We ask that in order to keep the zipline functioning properly, users observe the weight limit set for it, which is 175 lbs., and only one person may use the zipline at a time. New Duplexes in Ten Trails

Ichijo has broken ground on their new duplexes being built near our community park. The Japanese builder is well-known for their modern-style homes built in the Seattle area as well as the number of innovative technological features included in their homes. The new Ichijo duplexes at Ten Trails will feature piano finish cabinetry with pull-down shelves, spice racks, adjustable built-ins, architectural grade dual-sliding windows, and contemporary interior doors which include metal inlay, ten-degree short stroke handle and magnetic stop doors.

Green Home Builder

Ichijo is a “green” certified home builder and has certified a number of homes as “5-Star Built Green” through the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. This distinction means their home projects are certified energy-efficient, using sustainable materials among other stringent building criteria.  Ichijo is hoping to achieve the Built Green certification at Ten Trails with features on the new duplexes like the additional two inches of exterior insulation on each home–beyond what is required on building codes. The insulation is included on the exterior of the high-quality wall panel construction that is pre-assembled with wall framing, windows, weather barriers, furring strips, and rainscreens.
